Another mileage building week done. 🙂
In stats, this was:
Tuesday – 6.5 km
Thursday – 5 km
Saturday – 13 km (followed by a 7 km hike)
Sunday – 5 km
Running total: 29.5 km
Other keywords for this week were lingering forefoot pain, first not pavement runs of the year and running with a metronome. More on that later!
After the rest-free Saturday I had, it took a bit of willpower to get back out there even for a short run on Sunday. Still, as per usual, I’ve never regretted running.
And, despite my tiredness, I wasn’t the snail I thought I’d be:
Not bad at all!
Oh, and The Plan says next week is cut-back week. 🙂 The way my hamstrings are feeling at the moment…it’s none too soon.
